Ben “Flaps” Berry has a BS Aeronautical Engineering from University of Southern California (USC) and is the Chief Aerospace Engineer for Advanced Research and Development at AirShip Technologies Group. As an aerospace engineer, he previously designed the first fly-by-wire flight system, which became standard for commercial/ military aircraft worldwide. He was a member of a two-man team responsible for the development of the jet thrusters used for flight controls for the X-15 High-Speed research aircraft, worked on the Apollo space missions, and the Space Shuttle.
